WDAqua team is looking back at the successful ESWC summer school dedicated to Data Science that took place 5-10 September 2016 in Dubrovnik, Croatia (see http://summerschool2016.eswc-conferences.org/). During the summer school week, WDAqua ESRs enjoyed tutorials on a variety of Data Science topics, actively participated in interactive hands on sessions, presented their work during poster sessions and worked in teams to conduct exciting research projects. We are very pleased to see WDAqua ESRs bringing home a lot of awards for their poster presentations and projects. Congratulations!

From 31 August to 4 September 2015, the first Learning Week of the WDAqua students was held in Saint-Étienne in France in conjunction to the Web Intelligence summer school concentrating on the topics as publishing of Web Data, understanding and analysing a question in natural language, finding data to answer the question, justifying the answer and presenting the answers. In additions to keynote talks and tutorials, students were in involved in a challenge in order to understand and practice the question answering subtasks. Very soon the presented of the summer school will uploaded here. One of the very interesting sessions of this event was intercultural management session, as how we can collaborate in a group including people from different cultures and backgrounds.
